THIS WEEK'S HOMEWORK
March 21, 2016 (check for updates!)
MONDAY Library books due tomorrow.
CONTINUE COLLECTING - $ made from chores (dishes, garbage...) will be collected for charity
Words sheet #18
Math Yellow Group: Worksheet (due Friday)
Math Blue Group: Worksheet (due Friday) We are focusing on using easy numbers (0,1,2,5,10), estimating, and vertical multiplication. The factors 6x10 are easier to multiply than the factors 6x9 . The factors 6x10 give a product of 60. So 6x9 would be one less group of 6 (or 6 less groups of 1) which gives a product of 54. We multiply the ones column, then the tens column. If the product from the ones column is greater than 9, the groups of tens are ADDED to the tens column product.
